Gear Profile Grinding Wheel

Gear profile grinding is a discontinuous grinding process. Contrary to generation grinding, in profile grinding gap by gap is machined. The grinding wheel profile is absolutely identical with the finished gear profile.

Bevel Gear Grinding Wheel

The profile modification of grinding wheel before grinding directly determines the profile of tooth surface after grinding.

Bevel Gear Grinding：

Applied to a metal plate, spiral bevel grinding wheels typically run at very slow speeds. Bevel gears are conically shaped gears often used in differentials. Grinding of spiral bevel gears is performed with cup wheels following a profile grinding process.

Gear honing is a continuous precision machining process in which the honing tool and workpiece are rolled off each other. Gear honing is to reduce noise in the transmission by changing the surface structure of tooth flanks.

REZZ ceramic honing rings can correction of distortion due to the hardening process, and extended workpiece life.

Diamond Dressing Tools for Gear Grinding Wheels

* Diamond Rotary Dresser

The diamond roller has high rigidity, large amount of dressing, and high efficiency, more suitable for dressing complex forming surfaces. The methods of diamond roller dressing are divided into plunge-type roller dressing and swing-type roller dressing.

Application of diamond rotary dresser:

Diamond roller dressers are used for forming and dressing conventional abrasive grinding wheels and CBN wheels.
